A centralized management system for RouterOS devices

Cloutik relies on the RouterOS scripting features. Thanks to these features, the device can be enrolled by the Cloutik service and benefit from a remote management that will empower centralized configuration and monitoring for your network of RouterOS devices.

Cloutik has been tested with many RouterOS device. However, it might not work with old version of RouterOS. Then be sure to upgrade your device to a recent version before adding it to your Cloutik account. Our recommendation is to use at least v6.44 firmware.

A failure-proof management service

If the service Cloutik becomes unavailable, it does not impact the RouterOS device, which continues to run normally. Then, any Cloutik failure has no effect on the device.

Any communication is also triggered by the device on a regular basis, which can be modified if you need to reduce the potential impact on the related management trafic.

You can also stop using Cloutik without any side effect on the device.

Networking requirements

In order to communicate with the RouterOS device, Cloutik just need that the device can communicate with the HTTPS protocol (port 443).

Above this simple requirement, Cloutik provide some additional features if it can communicate with the RouterOS device on the following ports :

  • Syslog flows on port 5014
  • Remote Webfig on port 1165

If these ports are not allowed you can still manage your device but you will not be able to see the logs or activate the remote access to Webfig.

Internet connectivity

Cloutik has been tested on RouterOS devices connected by multiple Internet connectivity links.

On LTE networks in particular, note that depending on the country and the operator, some protocols might be filtered and prevent the use of the remote Webfig access for example
